POTENTIAL BENEFITS OF PRP:
Reduced pain: PRP therapy may help to reduce pain in injured or damaged areas by promoting healing and reducing inflammation.
Faster healing: PRP therapy may accelerate the healing process in injured tissues by providing the injured area with a high concentration of growth factors, which may promote tissue regeneration and repair.
Safety & Minimal side effects: PRP therapy is a minimally invasive procedure that uses the patient's own blood, which reduces the risk of allergic reactions and other complications. Because the treatments use a patient’s own tissues, PRP injections are safe and can be administered alone or used in conjunction with other procedures.
Versatility: PRP therapy may be used to treat a wide range of injuries and conditions*
Long-lasting effects: PRP therapy may provide long-lasting relief from pain and other symptoms, potentially reducing the need for other treatments or surgeries.
what is PRP?
PRP consists of two key elements: plasma, which is the liquid portion of blood, and formed elements including platelets, which play a vital role in healing throughout the body.
During a PRP procedure, a small amount of the patient's blood is drawn and then placed into a device called a centrifuge. The centrifuge rapidly spins the sample, separating the platelets from the other components of the blood and concentrating them within the plasma. This creates a platelet-rich plasma solution that is then injected into the targeted area*.
PRP therapy is used to increase the concentration of growth factors in a specific area of the body, which may accelerate the healing process and reduce pain. The growth factors in platelet-rich plasma may stimulate tissue regeneration, reduce inflammation, and may promote the growth of new blood vessels, among other benefits.

ultrasound guidance
Our pain experts utilize ultrasound guidance which maximizes clinical effectiveness of treatments, safety, and the reduction of collateral damage to surrounding tissues.
Improved accuracy: Ultrasound guidance allows for real-time visualization of the injection site, which can improve accuracy and precision. This can help ensure that the medication is delivered to the intended location, resulting in more effective pain relief.
Reduced risk of complications: Ultrasound guidance can help reduce the risk of complications associated with injection therapies, such as accidental puncture of nearby nerves or blood vessels. By visualizing the injection site in real-time, the clinician can ensure that the needle is properly placed and avoid any unintended damage.
Increased safety: Ultrasound guidance can help increase the safety of injection therapies by reducing the risk of adverse reactions to the medication. By ensuring that the medication is delivered to the intended location, the clinician can avoid injecting too much medication or injecting it into a sensitive area, which can help prevent adverse reactions.
Better patient outcomes: Ultrasound-guided injection therapies can result in better patient outcomes, including improved pain relief and faster recovery times. By delivering the medication to the intended location with greater accuracy, patients may experience faster pain relief and require fewer follow-up injections.
