registered massage therapy
restore balance, relieve pain,
renew your well-being
Our Downtown Vancouver Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) are healthcare professionals with training in the assessment and treatment of physical concerns through therapeutic massage. The techniques they use include but are not limited to:
swedish massage
myofascial release
joint mobilization
trigger point release
deep tissue
rehabilitative exercise
RMTs can help reduce acute pain, manage chronic pain, increase general well-being, decrease anxiety and stress, improve sleep and even help reduce physical swelling seen with injury, pregnancy, and inflammation. Massage therapists can also effectively facilitate the healing of nerve related problems such as sciatica, thoracic outlet and carpal tunnel syndrome. Pain, wherever it is, can limit your day to day activities. Massage therapists can work with you and provide the tools to manage your pain experiences in your everyday life. No matter the symptoms you are experiencing your RMT will come up with a specific plan to help you reach your pain free movement goals.

MASSAGE THERAPY
Our RMT’s offer 30, 45, 60, 75 and 90 minute appointments. Each appointment begins with a check in giving you the opportunity to share any health concerns. Followed by treatment, and then wrapped up with some homecare suggestions if needed.
Prenatal Massage
Prenatal massage is a specialized therapeutic treatment designed to support the unique needs of expecting mothers. It helps alleviate common pregnancy discomforts such as back pain, swelling, and muscle tension while promoting relaxation and overall well-being. This gentle massage therapy enhances circulation, reduces stress, and provides a comforting and nurturing experience. Offered by Jacky Edstrom, RMT.
MANUAL LYMPHATIC dRAINAGE
Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a gentle, therapeutic massage technique designed to stimulate the flow of lymph fluid and support the body's natural detoxification process. It helps reduce swelling, improve immune function, and promote relaxation by encouraging the removal of toxins and excess fluids from the tissues. MLD is often used for managing lymphedema, post-surgical swelling, and enhancing overall well-being. Offered by Adele Wong, RMT.
