Clinical Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy with our Downtown Vancouver Clinical Hypnotherapist is a guided process where a trained practitioner uses tailored visualizations, language cues, and therapeutic suggestions to help you enter a deeply relaxed, focused state. In this state, you’re able to access the subconscious mind, the part of the brain responsible for the majority of your thoughts, habits, and behaviours.

By working at this level, hypnotherapy supports the brain’s natural ability to shift patterns helping to weaken unhelpful pathways and reinforce more supportive ones. This can lead to meaningful changes in how you respond emotionally, mentally, and behaviourally.

Many clients are drawn to hypnotherapy for how quickly they begin to notice shifts, as well as for its gentle, non-invasive nature. It offers a drug-free approach that works in alignment with your body’s own capacity for change.

Hypnotherapy can support:

  • Stress and burnout

  • Anxiety and panic

  • Sleep concerns and insomnia

  • Habits and behaviour change (e.g. smoking, nail biting)

  • Confidence and self-esteem

  • Emotional regulation and resilience

  • Trauma and past experiences

  • Chronic pain and tension

  • Performance (e.g. public speaking, sports, exams)

  • Phobias and fears

somatic emdr

Somatic EMDR Therapy blends two highly effective approaches to trauma care. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) works by helping the brain process and release stored stress, trauma, and anxiety through gentle bilateral stimulation such as guided eye movements, tapping, or touch. While Somatic Therapy focuses on supporting the body in releasing held tension and trauma-related sensations.

By addressing both the mind and body, this integrated approach can support deep, lasting healing and help restore a greater sense of balance, resilience, and overall well-being.
